Sharing Visions Resource Sharing 2024 Virtual Conference Online

Sharing Visions, a joint effort by the New England State Library Agencies, presents the Sharing Visions 2024 Virtual Conference from 1:00-3:30pm via Zoom on Thursday, March 28, 2024. This conference brings together library practitioners and others interested in resource sharing developments for learning and sharing. 

The program is free and open to attendees from all types of libraries.

Merrie Haskell Fuller, Pamela Kindelberger and Charles William Gee from the Codes, Guidelines and Technical Standards Committee of the Reference and User Services Association’s (RUSA) Sharing and Transforming Access to Resources Section (STARS) will present the Revised Interlibrary Loan Code for the United States with Explanatory Text. 

Chris Freeland, from the Internet Archive, will discuss the Internet Archive's participation in resource sharing communities, including protocol-based interlibrary loan based on ISO18626, which aims to help libraries collaborate and share resources more efficiently.
