The Wildlife Tree Readaloud and Q&A
Join us for a read aloud and conversation with Peter and Deborah Emery as they read The Wildlife Tree and share information about a seemingly dead tree that supports a multitude of wildlife. Enjoy the interactive questions and clues in the book as you learn about the birds and mammals in our northern forests. Additionally, experience some of the amazing sounds used by certain animals to communicate with one another.
Deborah and Peter Emery have lived on a farm in Wayne, Maine for over 41 years. During this time, they have spent countless hours in their woods and fields. Together, they created The Wildlife Tree, a nonfiction, interactive book about some special animals in our Maine forests.
